Life Drawing & Painting 101 Workshop

Artist and instructor Lisa Towers will get you started with the basics of painting or drawing the human form. These workshops complement the CRMA’s exhibition, Figure Study: The Body in Art, open 9/30/17 to 1/14/18. You can participate in one, two, or all three workshops! Participants are asked to bring their own drawing/painting materials Preregistration and prepayment is required no later than 4pm on Thursday before each session, but space is limited so register early by calling the CRMA at 319-366-7503 or emailing ethomas@crma.org. Each session is $50, which includes a professional artist-instructor and live nude model. This class is for ages 18+.

Lisa Towers is an artist and teacher in Dubuque, IA. She has been teaching painting and drawing for twenty years, and currently teaches at Studio Works in Dubuque, Divine Word College in Epworth, IA, and online for Moorpark College in Moorpark, CA.
