Pajama Storytime: Fairy Odd Tales

It’s spring, and that means PJ Storytimes are back at the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art! It’s free for kids & their adult companions. Wear your PJ’s and bring a stuffed friend to cuddle with as we read stories and make art. We’ll meet in a different gallery for stories each month, starting at 6:30 PM, and then do an art project together. You won’t want to miss this——it’s fun for the whole family!

Pajama Storytime: Fairly Odd Tales

The Cedar Rapids Museum of Art, Thursday, January 18, 6:30 PM

This month we celebrate the birthday of Charles Perrault, the French author who laid the groundwork for a new literary genre, the fairy tale. We’ll pay tribute by reading new, silly versions of Perrault’s most well-known stories, including Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Little Red Riding Hood. After the stories, we’ll create an art project fit for a king or queen!
