Doodlebugs at the Hiawatha Public Library—Night Owls

This fall Doodlebugs will visit the zoo and meet a variety of artistic and silly animals, inspired by our newest exhibition, If We Ran the Zoo: Animals in Children’s Book Illustration (10/6/18-1/13/19). Join us each month to read a silly animal story and do a fun animal art project!

We’ll read a silly story about night animals who are afraid of the dark, and then make some not-so-spooky artwork.

Doodlebugs is a free preschool series for families, but if you have a daycare or school group, contact us about setting up a private Doodlebugs class designed just for you! For more info, contact CRMA Education Director Erin Thomas at 319.366.7503 or

Sponsored by International Paper.
