Doodlebugs at MPL: Stars & Stripes

Doodlebugs at the Marion Public Library: Stars & Stripes

Learn about the American flag’s symbols and colors in today’s story, and then experiment with red, white, and blue paint to see what happens when they get mixed up. Doodlebugs is a free preschool series for families, but if you have a daycare or school group, contact us about setting up a private Doodlebugs class designed just for you! For more info, contact CRMA Education Director Erin Thomas at 319.366.7503 or ethomas@crma.org.

This spring’s Doodlebugs classes are inspired by the

photos of President Kennedy in the CRMA’s newest

exhibition, AMERICAN VISIONARY: JOHN F. KENNEDY’S LIFE & TIMES,on display Feb. 2-May 19. Join us for each class as we highlight a different aspect of the president’s life, from his childhood to the White House, incorporating a read-aloud story and a simple art project.
