Grant Wood: In Focus

Grant Wood, Young Corn, 1931, oil on Masonite panel, 24 x 29 7/8 in., collection of the Cedar Rapids Community School District, on loan to the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art.

Culled from the Museum’s extensive collection of work by Grant Wood, this single-gallery installation will trace Wood’s entire career from his youthful creations until his death in 1942.  It will serve as an overview of the artistic achievements of this important American painter.

This is an ongoing permanent collection exhibition.

Grant Wood: In Focus has been made possible in part by The Richard D. Pinney Exhibition Fund, Diamond V. Mills* and Intermec Foundation. General exhibition and educational support has been provided by the Momentum Fund.*
