Bicycling for Art
Cedar Rapids, Iowa—The Cedar Rapids Museum of Art (CRMA) is hosting a cycling event to raise funds for educational programs at the Museum. Bicycle Built for a View—one of a series of Taste for Art events sponsored by the CRMA each year—will take place Saturday, June 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Participants in the Bicycle Built for a View event will embark on an approximately 20-mile bike ride starting at The Blue Strawberry (located at 5741 C Street SW) and finishing in Lisbon at Sutliff Bridge. Participants can choose to ride the entire route or any part of it—support vehicles will provide assistance along the way. When riders arrive at Sutliff Bridge they will enjoy food, entertainment and massages.
This event is limited to only 50 riders and reservations are required. Tickets are only $35 per person. Participants should wear your cycling gear and remember that helmets are required.
Bicycle Built for a View is hosted by Steve Junge and Tris Dows, Jay and Lee Clancey, Dolph and Mary Beth Leytze, and Steve and JoAnne Hammes. This event is sponsored by Tim and Janice Charles, Steve and Joanne Hammes, and Mercer Health & Benefits.
