Junior Docent Training at the CRMA-Art in Roman Life

April 06, 2011
Cedar Rapids, Iowa—The Cedar Rapids Museum of Art (CRMA) is looking to expand our volunteer base by inviting Middle and High School students to learn how to be a CRMA docent (tour guide). We’re hosting a special training session on Thursday, April 21 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

It’s the anniversary of the founding of Rome in 753BC. To commemorate and celebrate Rome, we’ll be learning how to give tours of the Art in Roman Life exhibition.

Training is free, but pre-registration is required by Monday, April 18. Register by contacting CRMA Education Director, Erin Thomas at 319.366.7503 ext. 203 or ethomas@crma.org.

For more information about all that is happening at the CRMA, please visit us online at www.crma.org or call 319.366.7503.
