Mixed Media Marvels Workshop

Ladies and gentlemen, step right up and make a mixed media masterpiece inspired by the circus-themed artwork in the exhibition Byron Burford: Ringmaster. Imagine the twists of the trapeze artist, the colorful patterns of the animals, the dancing tempo of the circus band, the glitzy costumes… And then incorporate those ideas into your acts of astonishing artistry. Rather than painting actual clowns or monkeys, you might move your pencil in the arching motion of a juggler’s hands, or tap a paint-filled brush to the rhythm of a drum over your canvas. $5 for CRMA members; $10 for nonmembers.
