Out of the Box: The Art of Peter Stamats and Bill Stamats

As a businessman, lifelong patron of the arts, and prolific collector, Peter O. Stamats was a well-known Cedar Rapids figure. But his own artistic work is less known. This exhibition places his box assemblages in conversation with those of his son, artist Bill Stamats. Each applies their own unique artistic vision to the form, and together they demonstrate an artistic heritage that continues today.
